Having a Rainbow chart is wonderful!
You can all keep track that you have eaten the full rang of colours everyday .. Or at least give it your best efforts.
It’s all part of the healthy journey of your lives.
This is lots of fun and a great way to start the goals setting journey.
Giving your kids a sense of achievement from their own efforts..
Ensure they know “WHY” we eat and what foods are good fuel!
~ so they grow up healthy, smart and strong
Give them as much as you can in it’s natural form, this way they get to like the taste of it without addons like sugars etc
Help them to combine those foods to create different tastes.
It is important to educate ourselves on the basic and how to preoare quick nutritious meals and become organised to avoid being caught out on a busy day!
Keep it simple to begin with and make it FUN!!
I am a huge fan of having FUN involve the family in the food you eat.
It is so valuable to get them all helping
*in the garden
watering, weeding, harvesting, sampling that’s the FUN part!
*in the kitchen
all aspects of the meals from prep, setting the table, clearing it and washing and drying dishes or loading and unloading the dishwasher.
